The CryoPen™ is a FDA and CE registered advanced cryotherapy innovation. It is an extremely quick and effective treatment for unwanted skin lesions that is virtually pain free. It works by rapidly freezing damaged cells which in turn destroys them. In a matter of seconds benign skin imperfections can be eradicated.

What skin lesions can be treated?
Many skin imperfections can be treated. These include lentigo (age spots), millia (tiny white bumps), warts, skin tags, seborrheic keratosis, cherry angiomas and many more. Non-cancerous skin lesions are suitable for the treatment. Should any of the skin imperfections look worrisome to the doctor then she will discuss appropriate advice for accessing appropriate medical treatment.
What results should I expect?
The treatment aim is to permanently remove the imperfection. This is often achieved after the initial treatment but may require a further 'top up treatment'.
Are there any side effects?
The unhealthy cells are destroyed instantly. This often results in some skin blistering or scab formation over the treated area. This usually heals over 1-6 weeks depending on the depth of the skin lesion. It is unusual for scars to form but it is advisable to avoid disturbing the scab until it has healed. Infections are infrequent but if the area becomes red or hot then contact us for a follow up appointment.
What are the aftercare steps for the treatment?
We provide you with an aftercare checklist that details all the measures you need to take after receiving your treatment. It is advisable not to pop any blisters or pick at any scab formation. It is useful to use Savlon or Germolene twice a day on the treated area.
