Where is it applied?

A small amount is applied to the upper eyelid border with an applicator.  If it falls on surrounding skin it can cause hair growth so it is advisable to wipe away any excess if it touches the cheek/surrounding areas.  Avoid placing any product directly in the eye.

What results should I expect?

After application for 8 weeks you will start to notice lashes getting longer and darker, they continue to get thicker and fuller up to 16 weeks.  The full impact of the lash enhancement can be maintained for as long as the treatment is applied.  On average lashes grow 25% longer, 106% thicker and 18% darker.  

Are there any side effects?

Side effects can be largely mitigated with careful application.  If it is applied frequently to surrounding skin it can cause skin darkening or/and hair growth.  Infrequently it can cause some local irritation.  The active ingredient is a prescribed medication so an initial consultation is necessary at which potential side effects are discussed and application instructions discussed.  

Are there any other considerations for the treatment?

If you wear contact lenses it needs to be applied when they are removed.  It is recommended that you wait at least 15minutes after application before putting them in again.
